Intensive programme

The beginners courses (Standard A1-A2-B1 CEF)

Basic level I 8 – 9 weeks
Basic level II 8 – 9 weeks
Basic level III 4 weeks
You learn the basics for daily conversation and also develop
basic vocabulary. Even long discussions could then be followed.
You can also read and compose easy texts. You also learn, in
addition, basic grammar and orthography.

The follow-up courses (Standard B2 CEF)

Intermediate level I 4 weeks
Intermediate level II 4 weeks
Intermediate level III 4 weeks
You are then in a position to participate in discussions and to present your opinion. You could even be in a position to give an oral or written report on topics relating to your field of studies. The required grammar and vocabulary would be taught at length. You could also grasp the central idea in complex texts, whether spoken or written,from business, politics and culture.

The special courses (Standard C 1.1 CEF)

University preparation course (DSH–course)
In this course you are directly prepared for the required entrance exam for your field of studies in the university. By treating specialist and technical texts and the core aspects of business language as well as the independent writing and presentation of reports you are then put in a position to actively participate in academic discussions and to be able to understand a lecture.

TestDaF

The preparation for the TestDaF forms the content and the techniques used in this course. The course programme is tailored by the demands of this globally recognised test (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, oral and written expression).
As the Kreuzberg Bonn Language Institute is a local test
centre officially licensed by the TestDaF Institute, the test can be
passed in our premises.
